This is a modern condition rarity featuring the most popular active athlete since Michael Jordan. No golfer of the modern era is more responsible for the increased interest in the sport, especially with the youth, than this man. In 1996, Tiger Woods entered the professional ranks and never looked back. In 1997, Woods would win his first Major, The Masters, winning by a record margin and becoming the youngest ever to win the event at only 21 years of age. At the age of 24, Woods became the youngest player ever to win a Career Grand Slam after his British Open victory in 2000. With his second Masters victory in 2001, Woods became the first golfer in history to hold all four Majors at the same time. Woods has won an astonishing 101 professional tournaments, 74 of those being official PGA Tour events. So far, Woods has been named the PGA Tour Player of the Year a record ten times. This 2 ½" by 4 ¾" card, which was placed at the bottom of the set, was shrink-wrapped in a very tight fashion. This caused most of the Woods cards to experience corner damage in the form of blunting or lifting. In addition, the card is surrounded by fragile black borders. Remember there is a sheet-cut version of the card and it is not nearly as desirable as the factory issue.
